Specialty Wood Services is owned and operated by Doug McLean.  He has delighted customers with artisan wood projects for 35 years.

Doug owned and operated Goodarts Gallery along with his wife, Theresa from 1983-2004 and during that time,  created more than 15,281 custom picture framing projects for very happy customers. Chances are, if you live anywhere in southeast Missouri, metro St. Louis, St. Louis county or the St. Charles area, you've seen Doug's work.

After selling Goodarts in 2004, Doug thought retirement sounded nice (!) but soon found that he missed the feel of wood in his hands, and he started getting calls for his help in building and wood finishing.  So Specialty Wood Services has been born to carry on his work for special people.

So the tradition of Doug's work now continues and people are happy!  (With wood in his hands, so is Doug.)
